Carla F. Benedicto

 

Carla F. Benedicto es compositora, pianista y musicóloga. En su creación para el audiovisual, destacan sus composiciones para publicidad (colaborando con marcas como Cepsa, Ikea, Citroën, Milka, Iberia o Banco Santander), los videojuegos o el cine, siendo la responsable de la banda sonora de las películas Un largo viaje (2023), nominada al «Horizon Award» del International Sound and Film Festival de Croacia,  o Últimas voluntades (2023), recientemente galardonada con la Medalla de Bronce de los Global Music Awards (EEUU), nominada a Mejor Banda Sonora Extranjera en los Hollywood Music in Media Awards (EEUU) y nominada a Mejor Banda Sonora en el International Sound and Film Festival (Croacia). Otros de sus trabajos han sido galardonados con el Akademia Music Award (2019), con la Medalla de Bronce de los Global Music Awards (2019) y, durante tres años consecutivos, con los Premios Jerry Goldsmith – 1er Premio (2018); 2º Premio (2017); 1er Premio (2016). Compagina su actividad creadora con la dirección del Centro Superior Música Creativa.

Carla F. Benedicto is a composer, pianist and musicologist. In her audiovisual creations, her compositions for advertising (collaborating with brands such as Cepsa, Ikea, Citroën, Milka, Iberia or Banco Santander), videogames or cinema stand out, being responsible for the soundtrack of the films Un largo viaje (2023), nominated for the «Horizon Award» of the International Sound and Film Festival of Croatia, or Last Wills (2023), recently awarded with the Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards (USA), nominated for Best Foreign Soundtrack at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (USA) and nominated for Best Soundtrack at the International Sound and Film Festival (Croatia). Other of his works have been awarded the Akademia Music Award (2019), the Bronze Medal at the Global Music Awards (2019) and, for three consecutive years, the Jerry Goldsmith Awards – 1st Prize (2018); 2nd Prize (2017); 1st Prize (2016). He combines his creative activity with the direction of the  Centro Superior Música Creativa.
